Efficient Weight-Gainer

Hey, a discussion between my husband and I came up- that he would lose weight and I gain some.
I am very skinny, very light. I have a very high metabolism. I lost a lot of "chest mass" after breastfeeding my son. I am looking to enhance that without implants, as well as gaining overall mass by about 20 pounds or so. What's the best/healthiest way to do that, any suggestions?

The first thing to do is calculate your Basal Metabloic Rate (BMR). This is how many calories your body uses per day, based on age, height, weight, gender and activity level. From there, if you want to gain a pound a week, which is a pretty safe amount, you should take in about 500 more calories than that per day.

Make sure you're getting those calories from good sources, and excercise to make sure they won't get stored as fat. Try eating 5-6 smaller meals a day, as opposed to just 3 full-sized meals.

Here's a BMR calculator for you

Ditto on the several smaller meals throughout the day. Upping your caloric intake will gain you the weight you desire, but the dispersed meals will also keep your metabolism working all day long, to prevent the fat that rockzilla mentioned.

No guarantee that much of the extra fat will go on your chest -- large breasts don't always "come back" after pregnancy, even with weight gain. But if you're going to gain, I'd do some weight training at the same time. Some of that weight might as well be muscle.

Did you lose breast size from BEFORE pregnancy or just the gains made durring the pregnancy. A good friend of mine is flat as flat could be, she gained breasts while preg and now is back to flat as flat could be. She has also gained a little weight but is still flat as flat could be (I hope you get the idea heh) so I would work on staying healthy over trying to make your breasts bigger. If its that big an issue go with implants, as implants don't make your butt fat.

To all of the above posts-
I am not looking to build fat, and I know I can't "put fat" into my breasts. I am looking not only for weight-gain suggestions but ALSO a more natural, efficient breast enhancer. I know you can't probably do one thing to help both. It was more of 2 seperate questions, I could have explained myself better.
I do normally eat small meals throughout the day, anyhow, I guess I just need to eat more (I thought I did already......)
But if any of you know of weight-lifting or pills or creams that would help my chest size, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I dated a woman who had a three year old son for about a year and a half. I knew her from way back when and she was particularly well endowed (chest-ally speaking ). Following the birth of her son she did lose some of the mass appeal that she carried there but ... and this is a big one ... but it did eventually return. Before the child she was a 38DD. After the child she eventually returned to being a 36D but it did take some time.

My advice would be (and I admit that I'm a guy so what do I really know about boobs other than I think they are dandy) let it ride for a while and see what natural form your body returns too over time. You may not go back to your pre-child body but then again...your life will never be the same either and isn't that a good thing? Just a thought...

NATURAL BOOBS FOREVER!!! Rotten implants and gimmick money makers...well not so much.

Weight training won't necesarily make your breasts bigger, but they will make them more -- noticeable. Firmer, higher, better shaped. AKA, "perky." And they may stick out a bit further, because the pectoral muscles that the breasts are sitting on have gotten thicker.

You would want chest exercises, of course, but I'm not sure which to recommend. Dumbbell flys, probably, or the equivalent weight machine. And of course the bench press.

Ya, but it's been 4 yrs. now. I didn't breastfeed long, because he demanded a lot and I couldn't keep up with him.

I will never get implants, but I am sure there is a pill or cream out there that actually works.......I've tried a couple in my past, but was unable to keep buying them and keep it up, although with one kind I did feel a "slight discomfort" as they said they would as they grow. Hmmm, wonder if I can remember what it was...........
