Going to be in Corpus for a couple days... anyone been ? Thoughts on things to do ?????

Lots of cool stuff in Corpus Christi:
You can tour the "Enterprise", a decomished aircraft carrier.
There is also a good aquarium, not as good as some in CA, but probably the best in the Gulf.
There is a decent night life scene if you like drinking and scammin'.
The best part of Corpus is the beaches surrounding the city.
Take the drive through the historic district also, it is quite beautiful.
The waves are too small to surf, but the water is nice.
For fishing I would recommend the Bob Haul Pier. There are also two large boats that take people out into the bay. I remember one is called the Wharf Cat. Last time I was there it was like 20 bucks to go and 10 bucks for tackle.
While in Corpus Christi go to Whataburger, thats where it all started.

If you have a little money, go to Port Aransas and go sport fishing.
$2-300, but a day of fun.
