woot woot for windsurfing!
Now that I know some of the swimmers, how about windsurfing? Any windsurfers out there? I go about 4 times a week if lucky out in the SF bay. if anybody surfs around here, I'd love to get together and go rip. Great sport, lots of action, tons of different levels. I *highly* recommend trying it, only downfall is learning curve is quite high.

Always wanted to give this a shot. I Bodyboarded in Florida for a number of years. Always saw the windsurfers out sometimes. Not the greatest location for many windsurfers on the south east coast of florida but you saw a few.
I bet its a great workout. Alot of strengh i would imagine would be involved. |

I would love to try it. I have a blast whenever I get the chance to go surfing. I could imagine how strapping a sail on a board would make it even more interesting . Do you have your own windsurfing board or do you have to rent it?

Millions of places rent gear :P As you get better tho, you get your own gear. Start on a lake then move up, and start with standard gear :P yea it's a workout, and the learning curve is high but once you get to that point where your strapped in, leanin all the way back and flyin off those waves oh man. Its like sex I tell you, except you dont have to make breakfast for her afterwards :P Oh, and whenever you can go you can hav eit :P
