I have your answer,
Fat is when your excess weight is causing your health to diminish, or your excess weight prevents you from doing things that you could otherwise do. -SF |
Weight is always a tricky topic. I've always found that if you are happy with yourself and how you look then it shouldn't matter what your bf says. Obviously, 110lbs on two different 5'2" people will look two different ways. If you are comfortable with yourself then to hell with your "honest" bf. I think honesty in that manner is a method of control and condescension.
If you are concerned with fat then get your body fat percentage tested. I've found that is the best way to see if you are truely out of shape. Don't worry about your weight, seriously. If your bf is any sort of decent fellow he'll adjust to the slightly different you and love you no matter what. |
fat is when you can't see your feet when you look down
|
You aren't really fat. Couldn't hurt to lose like 5 lbs though. The best way to lose weight is to power-walk for a long time (1hr+) a few times a week. Don't eat too many fatty foods and you should be fine. If you need a snack, fruits all the way.

I'm 6 foot and about 250lbs and I am overweight but not really fat. Nobody can look at me and guess even remotly close to my weight. My son is 6 foot and about 230lbs and looks much bigger than I do , so fat is a relative term. If it bothers your BF then it is his problem and you shouldn't take it to heart.
Love yourself and the world will follow! |
I hear its
2.08 pounds per inch for a girl 3.08 pounds per inch for a guy Anything over that and you are fat |
You are not fat. There are more guys like me out there who want a little to hold onto than bones. Women are supposed to be a little soft. Makes cuddling and sex more comfortable and fun.
110 is not fat. 110 is not even close to fat. It has probably given you some really nice curves adding that little bit. |
Hal is underweight, 17.1, someone give the man a hamburger stat:D

You know what..I think hobos right..just about 5lbs..I guess I should stay semi attractive for my bf lol and Id want him to do the same for me. 'Cept if he didnt rob me of dignity by pinching my flab and insulting me bout it..but I guess couples are supposed to joke round like that. Im slowly learning to take things with a grain of salt. Thanks peeps

I just want to add my agreement to those who say you are not fat. I honestly wouldn't know what to do with a girl that skinny, I think I'd feel like a child molester with someone that small. :o
attitudes like your SO's are the reason hundreds girls cut themselves and and dozens at least die of Ana-Mia every year. Our society is soooo stupid in regards to female body image, and it hurts us (men) as well since we have to deal with the neuroses or worse caused by it and watch those we love struggle with something pointless. |
Talking with my friends who are 5'2" (125 and very thin, 135 and beautifully curvy, respectively), you should probably even GAIN wait. 110 is just DAMN skinny, no matter what anyone else says. You defintely do not need to lose any weight.
One of the problems is that the whole world has a misconception of women's weights because women have misrepresented themselves for so long. |
People shouldn't be concerned if they're fat or not, as long as they feel good about themselves and don't worry about what the bullshit media says, they should be fine. Sure, being overweight is a health hazard, wouldn't you rather enjoy yourself instead of going on through dreadful exercises. I'm not trying to put down people who exercise/don't exercise, do whatever the hell makes you happy. If it is eating a triple bacon burger with a super sized order of fries, running 5 miles a day, sitting on your ass in front of the computer all day ( ), eating only 2 raisins and drinking 2 cups of prune juice a day, reading books, or whatthefuckever, and it makes you happy, do it. Fuck what other people think.
