stiff neck
 

I woke up with a stiff neck this morning. I can only turn it to one side and its almost always hurting. What do you all do when you've got a stiff neck? Do you just wait it out?

personally, I ice it and try to stretch VERY GENTLY.... vigorous neck stretching can make a stiff neck much worse quickly.

Take some pain killers or muscle relaxants and wait it out... try not to be startled and turn to the wrong side quickly

Sometimes I take a tennis ball and roll it into the sore part of my neck... sounds odd, but it seems to work the knots out...
