Leads on apartments in NJ?
I'm moving to nothern NJ in a couple weeks and was wondering if anybody can give me a good lead or two on some nice two bedroom apartments. I don't want to spend more than $1200 a month and it has to be a nice place, good area, and not too far out in the sticks that I can't get a broadband connection.

Where do you need to be close to? I know Northern NJ doesn't look too big on a map, but there are some vastly different areas here.

Sorry that I wasn't more specific. The office I'll be working at is in Park Ridge, pretty near the NY State border. I don't mind commuting 30-45 minutes if the price and quality of the apartment are great.

Alright that narrows it down. Unfortunately that area is heavily populated and can get pricey. Not sure if you are familiar with the area or not but traffic can be a real bear (I commuted into Paramus and Teaneck for several years). $900 for a one bedroom in a good building was the norm about 5 years ago.
Upper Saddle River, Allendale, Montavale are some of the wealthiest towns in the state and are all in that area. If you want to head further west and or south (and increase your commute) you can look to Morristown, Parsippany, Wallington, Clifton. Some options (found on rent.com) that fit your price range: Continental Gardens 8A Colonial Court River Edge, NJ 07661 (201) 487-4938 Milford Estates 264 Faller Drive New Milford, NJ 07646 (201) 261-0615 Leonia Properties 330 Fort Lee Road Leonia, NJ 07605 (973) 992-1555 Windsor Realty Company 589-1 Moonachie Avenue Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075 (201) 438-2898 Two Bedroom Apartment 547 Hoboken Road Carlstadt, NJ 07072 (201) 939-8477 Some other towns you may want to look into in the Park Ridge area: Fairfield, Wayne, Hackensack, Ft Lee, New Milford, and even Rockland county New York |
you may want to look in the NY side of the border... Tuxedo, Suffern, Newburgh, Fishkill those are all nearby..
