Does anyone know where I can get crates/flats/boxs of pop rocks? I'm in CT, and I've checked candy stores ($2 per little bag) BJ's Wholesale (no luck) and I really want to find them, and I can't afford a buck a pack at CVS.

Find a candy distributor in the Yellow Pages. Or contact the manufacturer to see what sizes are available.

I'm pretty sure the government controls such volatile substances. Chances are they only release a certain amount per year to the public. Perhaps a bribe would be in order?

Be warned: if that distributor DOES have a store, make sure you don't get carried away there. You'll see more large quantities of candy there for lower prices than anywhere else.

It's been decades (literally) since I went in a place like that, and I left with a box of Atomic Fireballs (1000? More? I don't remember), as that's what I went in for, for my Junior Achievement group (really! assignment was to GET SOMETHING WITH WHICH TO RAISE CAPITAL), but it was hard to not buy anything else for myself. The only thing which made it fairly easy was that I didn't have money for anything else.
