it might hurt but... drink lite beers, or at least lower alcohol. That's where a lot of the calories are...
Better still is not to drink them, but I guess that's not an option ;) |
i hear that there's a new michelob beer out there that's only got one gram of carbs in it, and only like 90 calories. might want to try that.

Drink lots of water to help stay hydrated and keep your metabolism from being as slowed as much as it would normally be.
And I mean lots of water. Also, you should seriously consider finding an AA program. If you really drink that much, you are probably an alcoholic. |
There is really nothing you can do to counteract at least 1000 extra calories a day. Even with a lite diet, you can easily gain a couple pounds of week from just the beer. Besides that much alcohol is going to destroy your liver (not a recommended path to weight loss).

Agreed, that's something like 1400 calories a day from beer alone. The average adult male only needs roughly 2500 calories a day to get by, assuming no heavy labor or anything.
I knew a guy who lived for years on nothing but beer and licorice (he got it free, from the candy factory he worked for). He eventually lost weight: his teeth. |

That has to be the most stupid thing ever .. You piss the stuff that your body don't use, which means that all the things that makes you fat is already inside your body when you piss .. |
alcohol interupts the krebs cycle...an energy production cycle in your body.
This means you burn the alcohol BEFORE any sugars or fats stored in your body. So you are adding calories AND preventing those calories from being burned, so they are converted to fat... |
drink wine man, it'll keep the bloat down. Amstel Lights and Miller Lites are the 2 beers to drink if you have to. you'll lose weight if you just hammer beers and eat healthy / very moderately. As long as you eat a small / no dinner and rip the 12 pack, and DON'T DRUNK EAT, you'll be ok...
