Why, are you too lazy to go to the grocery store? Disabled? Live in the middle of nowhere? There are so many out there today.

1. Lazy
2. Possible cheaper prices on some stuff
3. I forgot reason #3
4. Just wanna see what it's like
5. More selection of stuff...they'll prolly have stuff our store doesn't

Depends on where you are. I was a big fan of webvan. Super reliable, good quality, good customer service, but then I made more money back then and didn't live in WA yet where you can be selective about produce. In Seattle, Safeway just started delivery and Albertsons has an online store.

I use Publixdirect a grocery store chain here in So. Florida. Its great! Beer comes ice cold. Also they say that the food is much fresher, comes direct from the warehouse. It goes direct to the stores too, but may sit for days at the store. Its the way to go. Also nice around the holidays, you dont have to fight the crowds! Delivery charge is $5.99 an order. Sometimes food is on sale that is not on sale at the stores too.

Albertsons has delivery to local places. I just refuse to be so lazy.

depends on what part of the world you live in. Laziness isn't always a factor, but availablity is. There are lots of items that are only sold in certain regions, such as Quisp Ceral or Pace Picante sauce. peapod.com is the only nationwide one that the dot com bust. In the northeast FreshDirect is an up and cummer, Netgrocer.com seems to have the largest as far as nonperishable goods.

I use peapod all the time. Shop online and they deliver for 5 bucks. The produce is fresher/better than what they have available at the store.

Never had a problem with them and use them only because of the convenience factor..
