baby boy
As an update to the news of the baby boy my fiance and I are expecting this december... check out some of the ultrasounds:
http://www.jazbot.com/Mike/baby.php anyway, we are still trying to find a good name and those stupid baby name sites are crappy. what is your favorite boy name? |
Good luck with the delivery. My favorite name is Tom. I named my oldest son that.
|
that's so awesome! :) i loved how the piccies were labelled :) hmm ... boys names... Johnathon? I have to say, i'd vote against albert... (not that anyone asked me)
|
Spiffy!
I think Dax is a cool name. And I also vote against Albert. And Engelbert. |
Nice pics, But are you SURE it's a boy!? on some of those scans it looked loke the mouth was open & moving - a sure sign it's a girl!
One thing when choosing a name is to balance first name with surname, generally long surname = short forename & vice versa. Something from the bible is generally safe as one of the forenames, also, 2 or 3 forenames with variety helps, it gives the child a choice of how he wants to be addressed when he gets older. Avoiding current celebrities names is vital. In the UK, you can make a pretty fair guess about the age & parental intelligence of little "Kylie", "Brad", "Paris", etc... If it helps, our youngest is Alasdair - there's a few spellings, "Alistair" is english, "Alasdair" is scottish, and there's also gaelic, irish & welsh spellings, but they have too amny "G"s, "OI"s & "IO"s in them to be sensible. Mike. |
First one, wow, that was 11 years ago for me? I must be getting old.
Okay, Christopher Robin.. first middle!! Like the Whinnie the Pooh character. My 3rd is Khristopher, different middle name, but I still call him by Khris Robbin all the time! |

albert has to be there because it comes from my Father who passed away from brain cancer five years ago... |
Just had a boy, and we named him Tyler Matthew. I don't really remember any of the other choices we had, because we both agreed right away that it was our favorite name.
|
I love the names Matthew, Micheal, Lucas, Jonathan, Devin, Stewart, Kevin, James, Krisztian (Christian, but spelled the Hungarian way). I think that's it. I hope I was help.
|
named mine Eli Whitney. I thought it was funny. Name him Cooter.
|
We named our son Robert Jeremiah. Robert, for me, and Jeremiah for my Great-Grandfather.
Spiffy ultrasounds,BTW. See if you can get the new 3-D kind. They are so freaking awesome. Keep us advised. |
got a boy, too.........
i have a 5 week old son. leo james.
his older brother is henry james. i still like 'em both (kids & names)........... |
I like Andy. And Kaiden.
|
Alexander, Andrew, Caleb, Christopher, Jacob, Thomas, ... I have so many favorites.
I've heard some wait to name the child after they're born so they can see what they look like and what name they think may suit them best. |
I'm a stupid spammer that only wants to shill my products so I reopend a thread from 4 years ago. I deserve the perma-ban I'm getting.
|
I agree, the baby name sites are horrible. I picked up "The Very Best Baby Name Book in the whole wide world; 30,001 Baby Names". Lists meanings, origins and other spelling. Good stuff.
Congratulations on the boy! The website did not work for me? I can't wait to find out if mine is a boy or a girl. |
