i don't think it's shameful to go home and live with your parents after graduataion, but i'm deathly afraid to.

i'm from scranton, pennsylvania - one of those towns that if you don't get out when you've got the chance, it's going to GET you. built on a long-dead coal industry, it's got nothing but bars, funeral homes and slag heaps.

i just KNOW i'm going to end up going home while i try to find a job, find something for the mean time, get some good ebenfits, move up a little, and then before i know it, scranton will HAVE me.

it's hard to articulate but maybe someone who lives in the same kind of town will understand - i'm actually, seriously, legitimately afraid of getting sucked in to north eastern pennsylvania and never getting out.

not shameful at all, as long as you dont stay for too long (years)... make sure they know that no degree guarantees a job in this economy, the town I live in is full of MBAs waiting tables right now !
