Humidifier?

I searched for this on here, but only came up with threads that mentioned a humidifier in health situations.

I'm looking to buy a humidifier, and I'm having a hard time making up my mind about what's good to buy.

Reviews I've read on Amazon (where I usually buy from) have said so many different things, from "this was great and really easy to use, but cleaning it?? forget it!!" to "I bought it with hesitation, works great, but it doesn't do *this* when the manufacturer says it does." Etc.

So I'm wondering if there's a brand out there TFP can suggest, along with your personal experiences with said brands. I know they're not too expensive, but let's keep it that way too. I can't do any type of high-end humidifiers that also have aromatherapy and give off a mist while changing from soothing color to soothing color

Thanks in advance everyone.

Signed,

Chronic Sinusitis & Severe Deviated Septum

We bought an April-Aire whole-house humidifier; it hooks into the main blower for the central air system. No problems so far, it's been a few years at least.

I have the same system. Whole house is great because there is no mess other than changing the pad a few times a year. I've had mine for 8 years.
