Your Favourite Article of Clothing
I'm sitting here wearing my favourite t-shirt. It's one that Magpie gave me. This one, actually. It's witty, it's obscure and it references an 80's pop song. Nobody gets it without explanation, but I love it anyway.
Who else has a favourite item they want to share?

I love that song!
My favorite article of clothing changes from one week to the next. A the moment I love a skirt that a friend gave to me. She made it by sewing together samples of upholstery fabric, mianly in gold tones.

I don't know if I would have understood it if you had not mentioned that it was a musical reference, but with it, I got it immediately.
My son (or rather, my wife, since he was very young) got me this for Father's day:

currently, my favorite article of clothing is a salmon pink short-sleeve cashmere sweater I found at the Salvation Army...I feel like Lana Turner circa 1949 when I wear it.

My summer-weight little black dress. Black linen, A-line, sleeveless. Timeless, classic, and can be worn a thousand different different ways. I absolutely love it, and when I put it on I feel sexy and chic.

Martian, I can't believe you have to explain that one! Sheesh!
I wish I had a favorite item of clothing. I don't really think about them that much. I do feel most comfy when I slip on a certain pair of jeans and my reefs I've had for a long time and I do actively seek them out sometimes. But, I don't get attached to clothes. Maybe I need better clothes.

I have two favorites.
My favorite t-shirt is this cheap, teal green tee from Old Navy. It says "No shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" in borderline indecipherable white lettering. I love it. My favorite sweater is a navy blue cardigan. I wear it as much as possible.

My best female friend has a periodic table of the elements shirt. Come to think of it I should probably get her a new one, she has nearly worn it out.

I have this green polo shirt from Mossimo that I love. It's made of this stretchy cotton that's almost like jersey. Super comfy and I look nice when I wear it--a combo that cannot be beat, in my mind.

Martian, that is a totally awesome shirt.
One of my favorites is a t-shirt (brown, of course), that says "Browncoat" on the front and "I aim to misbehave" on the back. I also have a long-ish black tanktop that seems to work with my body, instead of against it. Supercomfy as well. For lounging around, I have a grrrrreat pair of Bengals flannel pants. They rock.

I currently have a black and pink striped tie that says 'girls rock' on it...I rather like it.
I also have a bright purple shirt-top that I'm told really suits me and I like that too. Ask me again tomorrow
