Greece or Hungary/Bosnia/Croatia
This summer me my wife and our 2-year-old are going on vacation. We are having a hard time deciding between two trips. Greece, or Budapest, Bosnia and Croatia. We have been to a few islands and Athens in Greece before, and we have been to Budapest, but never Bosnia or Croatia. Has anyone been to any of the above countries? All of them? Can you compare/contrast? We have been wanting to go on a vacation for years and we are finally getting the chance! Thanks for any advice!

I was just in Budapest.... if Croatia is a beautiful as the small sliver we saw of the Carpathian basin... I'd pick Bosnia and Croatia.

My partner and I were considering taking a trip to Greece for her 30th birthday this summer until we heard from friends how touristy Greece has become: crazy expensive, overrun with high rise condos and junk shops, and just not as appealing a destination as it had been. They strongly suggested we look into going to Croatia, and that's what we're doing... even though the vacation has probably been put off for at least a year at this point.
