Unique online store recommendation?
I've Googled and ebayed until my fingers are raw, and I'm hoping the TFPers can help me.
I'm trying to find a unique gift for the girlfriend for Christmas. Tired of the same old mall shopping routine. What I'm looking for is an online store that caters to more unique gifts, like vintage jewelry, memorabilia, etc. She's a big fan of the hippie era, and a lot of retro collectibles as well. It doesn't have to be vintage, but at least good for a unique gift idea, or at the very least something to act as a little inspiration. Hoping someone has some good sites to recommend! |
Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade is nice. No memorabilia, but a lot of handmade gifts by different artists.

Ooo I was going to recommend Etsy as well.

I came here to post etsy. Does that answer your question?

Great site. Found a vintage romper I think she'd love, need her to measure some of her clothes for me in the AM so I can make sure it fits. Always hard to judge with her, even more so because she's a twig to begin with but just lost even more weight.

I spent over 15 hours straight on Etsy, and nothing  That aside, I did muster up one thing thus far. I bought a basic silver bracelet, and ordered a bunch of charms separately. Each one of the charms was indicative of something we did together. Utensils for our first date at the pizza joint near her place, the three states we've taken trips to, a little sea turtle for our aquarium outings, and a fleur de lis among others to signify the time we'll be spending in New Orleans when I make the move this upcoming summer. |
