Last thing I bought:

A Lucky Brand Bob Dylan t-shirt that I would never pay retail for.

Last thing I sold:

An excellent read.

i lost my cell phone and didn't have insurance.
so i bought this.
touch screen phone.
it's a Cect P168. it's a chinese phone.

now, the last item i lost.... pissed me off.
i usually wait until there's like 15 seconds left before i bid. it was a video gaming chair. the bid was at about $52. i put in my bid for $110, but the seller wouldn't take my bid because something about my paypal wasn't linked to my ebay name. It's the first time i've ever seen that message. the item ended up selling at $102. *so someone had the same idea as me and bid at the last second.
now, i dont know if he put more than $110, but i had a shot if it wasn't for that dang message.

I just won the DVDs for Bleed and Inside, which is a new French horror film that's being praised by just about everyone.

I kind of promised myself that I'd stop buying random DVDs on Ebay... I guess I'm succumbing to my addiction.

It's only because the seller wouldn't be covered under the Paypal Seller Protection Policy if they accepted your winning bid. They must have a feature to reject those bids automatically now. The seller probably had some bad experiences.

It's not like it's hard to verify your PayPal account. With all the fraud that happens on Ebay, it's the only way sellers can know you're a real person and not a Nigerian scammer.

I've been scanning Ebay for old IBM 5651 PCs. They cost about $50 to ship, thanks to them weighing about the same as a boat anchor, and serving pretty much the same function.

I know it's wrong, but they're selling for like, $30.

Force everything into an auction. Your opponents will go broke the first time around the board and you'll get everything the second time. You can also scam them by choosing the wrong person on the "To whom am I speaking?" screen and forcing $1 trades.
