Cheer Me Up

So, yesterday my gf dumped me. This morning, my alarm didn't go off, and I was an hour and a half late for work. Fifteen minutes after I got to work, I got a bloody nose.

It's been a rough couple of days, and I was just wondering if anyone here has any tips for cheering yourself up. What do you guys do?

well geez dude, that is a bad day. let it go and be thankful for the extra 1.5 hrs of sleep. And think about why your girlfriend dumped you and learn from it, and pick-up girls while doing so. Try out the new cool best boyfriend behaviors on them. Make it a game and learn. Have fun.

Watch the nose though, it wouldnt be good to go getting your new girl all bloody and junk. We dont like that too well.

besitos

Edit: Also, a shot of Pyrat might be in order, but probably only one.

I see all my days worse than some better than most.

Your girlfriend dumped you and some old guy who has been married for ages lost his wife to cancer today.

You were late to work and some poor mother with mouths to feed can't find a job.

You got a bloody nose and someone bled to death after being in an accident with a drunk driver.

Cheer up man. There are people with real problems out there.

Girl dumped you? You're single now. Have fun.

Late for job? Less work, plus you didn't get fired.

Bloody nose? ....Well, that kinda sucks. They don't last long though. At least it's not cancer.

Look at the bright side.

Hey, I know things aren't dire or anything; I haven't completely lost perspective. There's always going to be millions of people suffering worse than me. But I think we're all allowed a couple days sulking when things aren't going our way and I'm just curious to see how other people cheer themselves up...maybe get a usable tip or two, even.

The next time you think you’re having a bad day imagine this:

You’re a Siamese twin,

Your brother, attached at your shoulder, is gay

You’re not

He has a date coming over tonight

You only have one ass!

(No matter how bad things get...it could be worse)

Be happy that you can guiltlessly oggle all the hot girls you see, as much as you want. Heck, if you have the game, you can pick-em up too

Also, at least you can enjoy spending half as much $$

Fair enough. I'm going to suggest this to my brother for his next tattoo; he'll either slug me or fall over laughing:

get out of the house, have coffee with friends, do sports, go for a long walk, go shopping, listen to good high-energy music, work harder than usual...all these help me.

I usually take a nice long walk when I'm feeling down. And go to bed early so the next day comes that much faster.

Best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. A much better reason to be an hour and a half late to work and (depending on the someone) bleeding.
