Sounds like you took charge in a situation where no one else was willing.

I love the British dialect.

It's a rude-ish way of saying 'go away.' Sort of equivalent to 'piss off.'

As to the OP, you may have overreacted a little bit, but I doubt there was anyone there complaining.

This story is better in my head, where between every line and action you yell "FROM HELL'S HEART I STAB AT THEE" at them. That probably would have actually had a similar effect.

I say good on you. I hate it when people are rude like this on public transit. But the only time I have enough balls to do this is if I have had 1-2 drinks to kind of loosen me up, or if I am really mad.

I say nice work, and there needs to be more knights like you on public transit!

It was probably a good thing that you did, but it is likely not a battle that you can fight on a day to day basis...
