Well, I've been back home for a few months now, and things are going well. Took some time to sit on my ass and do nothing. Got stinking drunk. Sat on my ass some more. Now, I'm working again. Pulling monkey duty in a warehouse moving boxes around, and loving it. It's been so long sense I've done physical labor that it's a very refreshing change of pace. For the first time in years I have a feeling of job satisfaction at the end of the day. It's not something I see myself doing long term, but for now, I'm enjoying it. There is actually hope in the woman situation, even with the bout of heavy drama and drinking at the start of it. I am back with my friends and family and don't have to worry about getting in as much time with them before I have to leave again.For the first time in over a year I can say that I am happy. Or at least close enough to it that I can fake it believably. Right now everyone is in the living room playing Rock Band, and I can sit here and type knowing that even though I'm pretty damn tired from humping my ass all day at work, I don't have to get in every moment I can because I'll still be here in the morning. Yes, things are starting to look good again. Now, I'm going to go make a jackass of myself with the guys. Because I want to, not because I need to.
