Well I am getting ready to grill some swordfish steaks (with a butter, lemon and capers sauce for grilling and serving) I picked up from Whole Foods on the way home. Also some fresh local green beans my wife cooked up last night along with some rosemary roasted potatoes. Got a little country sour dough bread to go along with that and will pull a little frozen homemade pesto from the freezer from last fall to use with the bread.

Willravel 07-30-2008 02:59 PM

Tonight's menu is BBQ pork sandwiches (I'm going to warm up the grill in about an hour), watermelon, fresh raw squash from the garden, and tomatoes (also from the garden) in olive oil salt and pepper.

Things, I'm totally getting swordfish for Friday's dinner because of you.

soma 07-30-2008 06:04 PM

Goldfish crackers and a glass of water. (I need to go shopping...)

noodle 07-30-2008 06:17 PM

mini meatloaves, twice baked potato (half each), spinach salad with Fresh Market bruchetta, marinated baby mozzarella and roasted garlic on top.

Was at the market on Tuesday when I noticed that the canned salmon was on sale! So I got some Tuna Helper and Chicken Helper along with the fish meat and some mixed veggies too. I have some fetticini alfredo left for dinner and will whipped up the chicken enchilada later. To drink, I've been brewing iced green tea and added a pinch of ginger for that extra touch. Yumm :D

I had some rice that I cooked in chicken stock, and I should have stopped there. Instead, I threw just about anything I could find in my kitchen into the pan. It was disgusting, and I have a feeling I'm going to have heartburn for a week.

girldetective 07-31-2008 06:28 PM

Im craving chocolate chip cookies, but dont have the ingredients. Ill settle for cheese and crackers, with some sliced tomato. Mmmm.

snowy 08-01-2008 05:36 PM

Whole wheat French bread, thickly sliced and toasted, spread with herbed ricotta cheese, with a thin slice of a Persimmon heirloom tomato on top.

Willravel 08-01-2008 06:01 PM

Swordfish Souvlaki. LOVE Greek food.

I had a Stouffer's French Bread pizza -- specifically the supreme kind. Been' feelin pretty lazy with cookin' lately, and these French Bread pizza sure hit the spot sometimes.

snowy 08-04-2008 05:13 PM

Grilled vegetables simply dressed with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and fresh pepper alongside cold couscous salad and sliced heirloom tomatoes. It was hot today, so using the grill was a must.

Does no one else eat dinner any more?

I made a carmelized onion bread pudding, served with green salad. It was tasty!

Willravel 08-11-2008 09:08 PM

PBJ and a glass of milk.

passthru 08-17-2008 01:29 AM

I like this thread, except that it's made me hungry when I'm supposed to be asleep..

Baked Coho fillet with pepper, onion, and lemon on top, and some weird chicken soup (onion, garlic, rice, carrot, celery, bok choi).

Spartanx9 08-17-2008 01:37 AM

Tonight, Pizza hut stuff crust pizza with pepperoni, black olives and bacon :D

Vigilante 08-17-2008 09:43 PM

Tonight, I had beef, buffalo, elk, deer and pork jerky, with some cookies. Oh and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich.

Ayashe 08-24-2008 02:39 PM

Salmon patties, tabbouleh and romaine lettuce leaves.

jewels 08-25-2008 01:53 AM

Fish here too. I had a grouper burger last evening ...

Esoteric 08-25-2008 03:47 AM

I had Easy Mac last night. It was horrible.

Starkizzer 08-25-2008 08:41 AM

I think we are gonna have Sloppy Joes and potato salad. Kinda boring but its quick and easy.

snowy 08-25-2008 08:51 AM

Last night I had smoked turkey, mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, grilled zucchini, and artisan bread with roasted garlic cloves in it (suffice it to say I was not eating at home).

Tonight I'll probably make vegetarian chili; the weather here is rather gray and rainy.

It's late, so if I eat at all I'm gonna have popcorn shrimp. I get a mean craving for this every so often so I bought a box yesterday. Dunk 'em in cocktail sauce yum.

snowy 06-16-2009 08:00 PM

I made mushroom-garlic couscous for dinner tonight. It took about 15 minutes--super easy and really yummy.

wooÐs 06-16-2009 08:40 PM

levite 06-16-2009 09:49 PM

Tonight was Moroccan white bean soup, Israeli salads and pita, fried kubbeh and hummus, mixed grill (lamb chop, skewered beef, skewered Cornish hen, kebab) with fried potatoes and grilled vegetables.

Last night for dinner we had a giant basket of handcut beer battered fries with ranch dressing. Yes, it was worth absolutely every calorie.

Tonight's dinner remains a mystery.

genuinegirly 01-21-2010 03:21 PM

Tonight we had tomato soup & grilled cheese.
The tomato soup had a hint of nutmeg.
On wheat bread, we grilled aged cheddar, roasted tomatoes, a sprinkling of oregano and thyme.

Cernunnos 01-23-2010 11:26 PM

Bratwurst und Sauerkraut mit Kartoffelpüree (mashed potatoes).
