Banff National Park in July (Canada)

There is a chance I might be taking a 3-4 day trip to hike and camp in the Canadian Rockies. I'm going at the most popular time of year for tourists though.

I'm wondering if anyone has been to any of the national parks in that part of Canada, and which one I should go to. I have to pick between Banff/Lake Louise, Jasper, Glacier, Yoho & Kootenay. I am looking to go hiking up a mountain, camp in my tent, take a lot of pictures, and see some wildlife (hopefully no bears though).

Any tips on what I need to bring? Things to do? Or advice from your previous trips?
