				wheat grass

im in consuming wheat grass on a regular basis. does anyone have any experience or info on this? i went to a local Henry's store and found different types, ranging from tablets to powders, and some even mixed with other supplements such as spinach. the lady at the store was minimally informative so i was hoping to see if anyone here could shed some light.

I get some from Jamba Juice at least once a week. They grind it up into the juice. I take it with a slice of orange to wash it down. I know I feel better after using it, though I couldn't tell you if it's a placebo response. I never really asked my GP about it's benefits.

It's entirely possible that you're better off eating fresh broccoli:

What's With Wheatgrass? I advise doing more of your own research, but this guy looks at a lot of research for a living.

I've tried it a couple of times -- it makes me fart tiny little farts for the whole day. Pretty unpleasant.

Also, the guy quoted above me is Andrew Weil, MD (wikipedia link), who is pretty much the scientific guru of complementary and integrative medicine, from what I've seen.

The western view of yoga clearly focuses on the third and fourth components. And the asanas themselves are what we are concerned with here.
