Rx directions
A bottle of antibiotics I got yesterday for a nasty strep throat says, "Take two pills daily."
The last round of antibiotics (a different kind that knocked the infection down but not out) read "Take one pill twice daily". That seemed fairly clear. I was taking it morning and night. Does "take two pills daily" mean to take them both at the same time? Or to space them out? Or what? |

I read it as take both at the same time, but you may want to call either the pharmacist or doctor for clarification.

My resident company hypochondriac says that some infections are treated with a steady constant barage of antibiotics. (one pill twice a day) That is the prefered method. Some infections are so nasty that they must be pounded into submission. (think MOAB) You're basically knocking it for a loop. letting it start to stand up again, and give it another wholop before it can regain a good footing. (two pills once a day) She may just be a hypochondriac, but she seems to know more than a lot of doctors that I've seen. And her purse could put Walgreens out of business.
 In any event. It sounded good.
