I disagree... every time the totals gets neglected, it becomes a little bit more complicated to add them up. People... stick with the program! Were simply maintaining 1) Grand Total kms for the entire thread, and 2) Total towards the new destination. I wouldn't bring it up if it wasn't such an easy thing to do.
