Ready to find new homes for my monsters
Help!
Let's start off with this: I have an almost 2 year old Great Dane, and a 1 year old Retriever/poodle mix. My dogs have always been pretty well behaved- they've been potty trained for ages, they LOVE the baby, baby loves them. Other than some random diaper-stealing they've tried to pull off, we haven't had an issue until the last week or so. Aric recently got VERY mobile, and I've put up baby safety gates so he can't get to one half of the house - the kitchen/dining room, my office area, and the back door. The dogs have their food/water dishes on that side of the house, and I usually leave the back door open for them, especially when it's nice out. Now, before I put the second one up, there were no issues. Within the last few days, one of them has eaten three bottles with the collars and nipples (God only knows how she gets them), a teething ring, his food separator thing (has little sections to store formula for on the go), chewed the cap off of his diaper cream, chomped on one of his other teethers, a whole bottle of those baby puff treats, and I KNOW it's Abbey because she freaks when I pick them up. I'll find stuff either in the backyard or under the kitchen table where she likes to hang out. She's also stolen little things, but really only at first- a baby sock or a pacifier. I've caught her red-handed recently trying to take stuff out of the diaper bag! Bunta (the Dane) does pretty well, but he stresses that he's separated from us now. I haven't seen him do anything with the baby stuff. I don't know if this new behavioral issue is out of anxiety from being separated or if Abbey is just being a giant bitch. I don't know what else to do. Since I had the kid, we've definitely had to deal with an alpha struggle, mostly between me and the dogs. It had gotten a little better. I've gotten to the point where the dogs cause more stress in my life than I'm willing to deal with. We can't afford to keep replacing things just because Abbey gets her little teeth on them. I love my dogs - they've been my furry kids since before I had Aric, but this is ridiculous! *Edit: I am looking for help, not for homes *

Its an adjustment thing. She is either going to have to deal with it in rather short order or...
I wish you luck. Pans Chihuahua didnt adjust very well here and we had to find her a new home. On the plus side, she adores her new home and couldnt be happier. Best of luck to you!
