Actually this pics are from a coffee table book, a new edition was just released, this guy made a fortune! So many people were up in arms over the painted cats! Still they are unusual pics....

The first book was named "Why Cats Paint" and it made a fortune, too. "Painted Cats" was a logical sequel. Snopes has more information, if you are interested.

I thought it ws a very novel idea myself. Who would really believe a cat could/would stay still that long? The creator did a beautiful job though.

I'm with you Lady Sage. My first thought was "HUH? What cat stays still that long?" I suppose if the artist were incredibly determined they could put them out and paint them during a cat nap.
