Television and You
I just heard the latest research into tv (that's "television" and not "transvestite") watching and your basal metabolic rate: Apparently, your body goes into a sort of stasis when you watch TV - a vegetative state: Your heart slows down and you burn less energy than if you were just sitting there on the couch reading.
Maybe this explains all the fat kids around these days! Any thoughts.... |
