Koh-Samui Thailand
 

I'm heading to Koh-Samui island in Thailand in the middle of May.
Chaweng beach... :cool: white sand and beer..... :crazy:

My first time there in THAT particular island, anyone been there?
what to do and what to avoid? :)

Full moon party I've heard is worth checking out in pha-ngang island or something.. :thumbsup:

It's been many years since I've been, but Koh Phangan (sp?) has always been more laid back and less developed than Koh Samui. So be open to going over there and checking it out.

See if they still have boat excursions to that crater island nearby, the one that's essentially one big crater filled with water -- and yes, you can swim in it. It's like the land that time forgot.

Wow, Koh-Samui was probably my favorite vacation of all time. We spent two glorious weeks there and I loved every minute of it. Hope your vacation goes well.
