While I certainly commend the guy finally starting to take care of himself... why is the doctor happy with him stopping his weight loss at 400? 400 is still really unhealthy.

I saw a special on Discovery chanel about this guy who was 750 lbs and finally checked himself into a guarded care facility. Sadly he still managed to get whatever junk food he wanted and never made the commitment to himself to get better. He got some strange infection and died. Pretty sad.
This guy in the article has at least given himself a chance. 400 is big, but is a liveable weight. At 1000+ you are just waiting to die.
