I think we should have TFP people do the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) and award merit badges and chocolate chip cookies and puppies and sunshine.
Minimum standards (brain is a little rusty): RUN: 2 miles in 13:50 PUSHUPS: 48 in 2 minutes SITUPS: 52 in 2 minutes ...... Oooh, puppies and sunshine. |

Well while we're on the subject of PFTs, I found this USMC Woman PFT workout program and it calls one exercise just "bend and thrust"... I thought 'bed what and thrust it where?? Then I figured out it's what Crossfit calls a burpee (only minus the push-up in the middle and the jump at the end, I think).
This thread is making me really sad because I'm never posting in it anymore. I must go do some now... |

I've worked myself sick so I'm "resting" by not running at all until I fight off this bug. Of course, this gives me the time and the patience to execute my nightly exercises carefully and slowly. My overhead squats are looking decent again and my push-ups will be back on track soon, I'm sure of it. Gotta add the ab work back in when it doesn't make me wanna go pukey.
