The Handyman's "Real Rules of Life"
“The Real Rules of Life”
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape. |
Duct tape is like the Force in Star Wars.
It has a light side and a dark side, and it binds the universe together. |
I always thought the rule was to invite your friends over to help, so if something goes wrong you can tell your wife it was really your buddies fault. :hmm: |

P Blaster better than WD 40
I use P Blaster instead of WD40. I am a professional ASE Master Mechanic and if I had to pick one thing to take with meit would be P Blaster. This stuff is incredible. I've had an old rusty exhaust manifold bolt almost twist off it was so tight. Then I sprayed some P Blaster on it and came back in about 5 minutes and sprayed some more on and I could almost take the bolt out with my fingers. It turns the rust into butter almost. I don't work for P Blaster but recommend it over anything, even Knock Er Loose. The stuff smells like coal oil and will probably cause my fingernails to fall out when I'm 70 (like most good things)
P Blaster is only a penetrating oil. It doesn't stick around. For something that lubricates and is good, get PolyLube. I get it from my Winzer rep. It comes out in a thin liquid but when it dries it turns into a heavy grease. |
