Seeking Spanish speaker to translate dialogue..
I have to do a dialogue with a friend next week, and was hoping to get the help of a TFP'er that spoke Spanish well (grammatically), so that they could translate the dialogue from English to Spanish, so I can then start to memorize it for next week.
If someone is will to help me out with this, please PM me. It is 12 lines total, and nothing overly complicated. It involves a discussion between a hotel receptionist and a customer. Help would be greatly appreciated so that I am able to be sure I am memorizing the proper phrasing/grammar, and not incorrectly memorizing the wrong things. Thanks! |

Babel fish for proper grammar? That would what the french call 'une idée très stupide'!
Also, remind me why we should be doing your homework for you? |
Actually, I used it last year for a Spanish essay, and the grammar was much better than it used to be. Not perfect, but i didn't have to change much at all.

I figured that if he was silly enough to ask us to do his homework, babelfish would make sure that he received a 'D'. :)
As long as you know how to change the sentence structure for proper translation you will acheive the results that you expect. |
A fellow TFP'er helped me out over the weekend, and we did great on the dialogue.
The homework was not translating it; the assignment was the dialogue itself; thus the best translation possible (by whatever means) was necessary. Thanks again for those that helped.. To those that consider it "doing my homework for me" I find it hard for you to make that judgement, seeing that you don't even know the assignment. Take care. |
