Beat me to the question... thanks martin... I'm curious as to why someone who was born in 1980 is asking this question?

From what I understand, it's against the law for a person who's above the age of consent to have sex with someone underage, but I don't believe it's illegal if both people are under the age of consent.

I was wondering the same thing. Especially since the original post mentioned two sixteen year olds.. I doubt this deals with any children the poster might have being only ~25 years old
