Editing DVD Subtitles

For Latin class, we translated the dialogue of an entire movie (Gladiator) from English to Latin, with the plan of creating a version of the film with Latin subtitles for future classes to enjoy.

Now I have a DVD of gladiator, and ripped it into an IFO and several VOB files on my hard drive. Does anyone know what the simplest way to change the text of the english subtitles is? It's been suggested to me that I use FlaskMPEG, but I see nothing in there regarding subs.

Any ideas? thanks in advance.

find an anime funsub group... and they can probably tell you how they do it...

You can use something like After Effects to add subtitles. It would take forever and be very tedious. It is also an expensive program to buy, but there are cracks available.
