textbook quotes.

I was reading my textbook/compulsory readings, and I kept on noticing sentences that cracked me up, I'm not sure if it's because they're actually funny, or if I'm just too tense for the exams. Anyway, I'm posting this here because, who knows, maybe you'll learn something.
