I'm hitting the Grand Canyon next week and want to know the tricks for photography in that environment. I have an old Minolta SLR with a polar filter. I've heard it's best to "step down" out there but how far down should I go? Suggestions would be appreciated!

One of these days I'd love to get an SRT-102 or SRT-303
