How do I keep a new pair of tennis shoes new looking and still wear them daily?
Hello
OK. From what I hear, Disney will let us CP's (or some of us at least) wear clean tennis shoes for certain jobs...now I have a pair that I just recently bought and haven't actually started wearing for some reason...they're still nice and clean and the white parts are bright white... I am wondering what I can do to them (maybe daily) so they STAY nice and bright and clean...I'll prolly be walking around a lot and my church shoes aren't for walking long distances for long periods of time... Any tips? - Undercover_Man |

rubbing alcohol works well too- I used to clean my shoes at work all the time with the little individual packages of alcohol swabs. Gets all the grime off!

Either type of wipe will do or some places actually sell shoe cleaning wipes but I think they are just relabeled baby wipes.
If all else fails, shoe departments and stores usually have something similar to white paint for shoes. It covers almost any stain if you get something you can't remove with wipes.

Seconding baby wipes.
I use them for all sorts of jobs. They are great for getting rid of oil based stains before they set, and they're good for wiping over minor cuts and grazes to prevent inflamation. Obviously I keep a pack by the bed too. |

Clean them every time you put them on, and every time you take them off. Tie the laces slowly and carefully each time you put them on keeping them straight. Never bend the heel down when putting them on, gently loosen the laces enough to get your foot inside with ease, using your thumb as a shoe horn. When you take them off, gently place the laces inside the shoe. Don't wad them up, and don't ever let them touch the floor. Oh, and always wear clean socks.
