Got ink on my cellular telephone

My pen broke in my pocket and I got ink all over my cell phone. I really have no idea what to do to get this off. Is there anything I can do? Or am I left with ink all over my phone?

I dunno about cleaning it off, I hear hairspray will remove ink from clothes... Why not just buy a new skin for your cell?

I know bleach works real well for printer ink, though pen ink is probably a lot thicker.

If you can get your hands on some mild cleaning solvent just lightly dampen a cloth..It should work.

Try rubbing alcohol.

Grain alcohol, not rubbing or denatured alcohol. Four years ago, I bought my wife her first new car, A Mercury Sable with all the options, including leather seats. Well my wife has a garden plot, so she took the kids and one of my daughters friends. My daughter was 3 at the time. So my daughter and her friend get in car and are playing, and my wife doesn't think to much about it, until it is time to go. They found a ball point pen and had drawn stick figures all over the front seats, arm rests and door panels. I tried everything from WD-40 to denatured alcohol, without success. So after a quick search on the internet, I went the liquor store and got grain alcohol, and it worked like a charm. I now consider myself an expert on ink stain removal

Hairspray, wathc other stuff, as it may soften the platic, or remove the finish. You can alos try lighter fluid, that works for a lot of stuff.

You might want to try diluting the acetone to prevent it from melting the phone. I have used to nail polsih remover/acetone to clean ink and marker stains off from a lot of hard surfaces. Start with a 1:10 dilution and work up.
