How to fold a shirt in 3 seconds

Okay, probably not something you've been dying to know how to do. But still pretty cool. |

Hot damn!
that works too! Just tried it with a shirt of mine, and while not exactly perfect (prolly takes a little practice), it did come close enough to use it

heh, I saw this awhile back, I have a ton of t-shirts, I was ecstatic...
I fold all my shirts like this now. It's so fast, and easy, plus if you get really fast at it it's a great excuse to take your shirt off at parties and the like. Too bad I blind people with my pale white skin...

Wow, my stubborn self didn't want to believe this would work at all or that it would only work with tons and tons of practice. However, I finally got around to laying a t-shirt out on my bed, and bam, the damn thing worked instantly. Not perfect, mind you, but easily more than passable and better than the way I used to fold the occasional shirt (usually all of my shirts are hung up). Still trying to figure out a way to compensate for long sleeve shirts, but i think a little common sense and it'll work for those too.
This is the sort of practical, every day advice that kicks ass because its so simple yet makes peoples lives easier in the small ways. Now if you'll excuse me I think I'll go do this over and over again until I beat the fun out of it!

That is more ingenius than Einstein, Hawkings, Plato, and Aristotal combined. I used to just fold my shirts in quarters. I feel like I've evolved from primordial single celled organism to pure energy. This must be what Buddha meant when he was talking about nirvana. 1000 thanks, sadatx.

After a while, I finally got this similar to the video. I'm sure that I'll get better with practice. This is really cool...just don't tell my wife I learned how to fold my own shirts, please.

What a great post!! I have to admit, it was more than expected from the title of the thread. Any quick way of actually getting the laundry off the floor and into the washer?

I started watching this and tried to memorize it so I could do it at home...then I realized I hang all my shirts. D'Oh!

I was watching this yesterday on repeat trying to memorize it also but once I got home, I couldn't make it work. Does it work better for certain shirts? I tried using a t-shirt. Maybe I am just not coordinated enough to do it.

It looks like it definitely works better on lighter articles of clothing. I still have yet to get the damn trick to work. By the way, I just love the flute that comes in when she does it. It really emphasizes the whole "ancient Japanese secret" of the whole thing.

Winning that contest could set up a precendent that will not be in your favor. I can see it now: "Honey, you're so good at that...you'll be in charge of all the folding from now on..." Ouch. |
