any animal science majors here?
I was wondering of the job opportunities for animal science majors. A friend of mine is graduating with theirs in a few months and is trying to find a job (central California) and I wanted to be able to keep an eye out for them as well.
Thanks for the help. ~Dil (Edit: now with spelling)

I'm not an animal science major, but your friend should definitely look into government jobs. I imagine s/he's already looking into openings at zoos and research departments at natural history museums, aquaria and the like. The government also tends to have a lot of hidden opportunities for practical (as opposed to theoretical) scientists. The USFS (forest service) is an agency that may have openings, and there are usually a lot of opportunities in fisheries (or so I hear from fellow environmental science majors). That's all I got.
