Hampton Bay lamp
I need a new part for a Hampton Bay lamp. Home Depot doesn't sell them, Hampton Bay doesn't have a website, and it's kind of annoying to not be able to attach the base to the pole. Does anyone know of a secret parts dealer, or who makes these lamps for Home Depot?
If all else fails, I'll try to use this as an excuse to get welding equipment. |

It's the part that attaches the base to the pole. It's a brass cylinder with a small threaded hole on the bottom and threading on the outside of the top. The base has a threaded pipe that goes into the small hole, and the top screws into the pole of the lamp. Quickly looking at Grainger's site, I don't see anythign that looks like what I need, but I'll keep checking. Thanks for the info.

It's really tough to find what your looking for using grainger as all of their nomemclature is really strange like:
"threaded rod, brass, 4inches" or something similarly obscure and not very intuative. What you described sounds like a very common electrical part and if you take it to a electrical supply house (Rexel, Graybar, or Branch Electric ) they will be able to summon one up from the back I'm sure (grainger has brick and mortar stores as well). Good Luck, -bear
