maybe a better question is, how do i reduce my stress.

diet and exercise are the most common ways. Since you seem to get the exercise part, maybe try improving your diet. Increase your fiber intake and cut back on saturated fats. I too have high blood pressure. Mine is genetic, so I may eventually have to take meds to lower it, but first I am trying these other methods.

I was diagnosed with borderline hypertension, exercise did the trick for me, but sounds like you have that taken care of, I would recommend cutting your salt intake quite a bit too.

FYI, I think I also have white coat syndrome, cuz when I check it on my own, I am high normal, at the docs, I am a bit higher. Check it on your own.
I have heard stay away from the drugs, a buddy of mine took them and they reduced the sex drive.

Pot works like a champ.

Light up lie back, relax.

Also, I should add this:

Talking while having your BP checked will increase the reading. I read this someplace. I don't remember where, it was quite a while ago.

If you test your own, walk around the room a couple times then check it. That will simulate the walk to the examining room. This one is my own observation.

High alcohol intake is a major driver of elevated blood pressure. Are you imbibing a lot?

Lower your salt consumption -- if you start reading labels, you will be astounded at the amount of salt in everything...

Drink more water.

Cut down on caffeine

Increase your intake of foods rich in potassium (bananas, beets, cantelope, lima beans, winter squash, potatos, raisins, etc.)
