cigarette burn removal
I've searched this forum for this information and have had no luck. I'm pretty new to this place, so if there is a thread on this someone please let me know, and I apologize in advance for creating the extra thread on it :)
Now, I've got some pretty hardcore cigarette burns on my porch. I think the porch surface is laminate, it's a bit rough though, so it's not the smooth tiling you'd get in say a bathroom. I've tried what feels like everything to fade these marks away, acetone, bleach, oxi-clean, you name it. Out of all of those, the oxi-clean faded them the best. Does anyone here have any suggestions as to how to fade these things? The floor is a grey colour with black specks, so I could definitely get them smaller and they'd fade into the ground no problem. I know they are burn marks, so I can't hope for total disappearance, but fading them would be super good. thanks in advance for any help :) |
I had some old firework char marks that were on our back walkway for years. I got a high preassure hose (plugs into water line and electricity for the pump) and fired away.
Not only did it get rid of the char marks, I discovered the concrete used to be a whole different color... a really light grey rather than dark. Good luck. |
