Couple of semi-random questions
My friends and I sometimes have discussions about these
1) Do penguins have feathers, or do they have a seal-like skin? 2) Who would win in a fight -- a man with no arms, or a man with no legs? |

Penguins have feathers.
The winner of the fight depends on who is better trained. If the legless person is well-versed in judo, the armless opponent may be in for a rude surprise. Mobility and training are inportant factors. The ability to grapple an opponent would play a key role. Remember, even Bruce Lee said he would not want to fight a judo master who was laying on the gound....

hehehe, a while ago, a bunch of my friends were discussing who would win in a fight between a shark and a bear.

Don't underestimate a legless fighter.
All things being equal, the person lying on the floor grappling doe not need to expend any effort towards maintianing balance. To kick and stomp, you would need be to be close enough to not lose your balance while doing so. The legless opponent may take a few really good shots, but once the stomper falls to the floor, it's all over but the face pounding. Think about it for a bit... That guy on the floor is not immmobile. Haven't you ever seen a legless person scoot around on their knuckles? The opponent with legs will end up with multiple knuckle sandwiches and eventually, choke on their teeth..

Yea.
Victory to the no arm man who can move around faster. There is a huge advantage to be able to move quickly and decisively in battle. Ask mainland Europe during WWII, 'Blitzkrieg'. I know Hitler's army has been linked to many things but am I the 1st to link it to a man with no arms??? Then again..... Does the no legged man have a top of the range wheelchair with various offensive 'attachments'? The answer to the question only poses more questions! |

hard to say, The no-leg man could knock down the no arm-er, and, having no arms to defend himself, would succumb to a pummeling. The no-leg man could block a kick, grab the foot, and flip the guy. So I'd say the no leg-guy, but it would be a close fight

The armless guy has a higher chance of winning. Your legs are much stronger than your arm, and you can also kick much faster than you can punch. Even grappling, the guy with no arms can use his legs pretty well. If the guy with arms grabs one of his legs, the armless dude could still kick him. The worst the legless guy could do is probably a choke hold. Even then, the armless guy could probably bridge out of it. But if the armless guy has the legless guy in a figure four, then it's all over.

My money is on the guys with the arms. Dude, talk about a scary visual image! This gave me a freaky feeling. I think its the thought of the dude with no arms being so super pissed off that he is trying to stomp the legless one. For some reason i imagine the fight to be silent.
