Removing Gatorade stain
somehow i happened to spill a couple of drops of gatorade on my pants and they dont wanna come out.
i've tried scrubbin them for a while, but no results. any suggestions? btw, this the yellow gatorade. |
Have you washed and dried the garment already? If so you might be SOL, and only time will eventually deteriorate the stain.
I use a stain stick, which usually works well on everything. The important thing is to treat them before they set...and definately before a Drying. Good Luck, -bear |
Alright, this might not help you now, but it will in the future. Heed my words.
When you spill something (paint, oil, Gatoraid, whatever) , quickly blot up what you can without pressing the liquid further into the fabric, then LEAVE IT ALONE. Let it dry if it's going to dry. Just let it be. Do not mess with it again until you are ready to totally attack the problem. Research the problem. Get the needed supplies. Once you are ready to get the stain out, work on it until it is out. Stopping halfway through and tossing it into the wash is going to leave you with stained clothes, 9 out of 10 times. Sadly, I don't know the antidote for Gatoraid. My arsenal of stain-removers includes - WD40 for oily stains, cold water for blood, Spray N Wash for just about everything, soda water for baby puke on nice clothes, and hair spray for ink. Best of luck. |
yea, i washed it and it seems permanent now :(.
i tried blotting it out, then thought what the heck, it'll go away easy. damn! |
Gatorade stains clothing? You must get different stuff in Texas than we do here. A bit of cold water does it for me.

theres some stuff called "ZOUT" not to be confused with "shout", that shit is a miracle worker. its located in the same aisle as other laundary stuff. im a chef at a large resort and thats what most of us use. I ve even got the most stubborn of stains out relatively easy.
fyi-- blood stains, use proxide.works |
