How to grow hair back?
My hair is thinning and am wondering what other men/women are doing to try and regrow or keep what they have on top. It's not really an issue for me because I've had my head shaved for years and now that it's grown out (and thinning), I have no problem shaving it again. How do those Rogaine, Avacor, etc. products work?

contrary to popular myth none actually grow your hair back.
but i suppose if you make it an issue youll beleive it works. any woman will tell you a man looks better if he doesnt try to hide the fact hes goin thin. DO NOT beleieve that you can sweep over the longer hair and no one can tell. it stands out a mile.

I'll never to try to hide the fact my hair is thinning. Never gonna be the case. My gf actually thinks I look better with a shaved dome anyway. I don't think so, but her opinion means alot. It's actually interesting to me that some dudes try to comb their in ways to hide the fact their balding.

Rogain works, but wont regrow all of your lost hair, only a fraction of it. Other than that, there are no topical creams that work. Also, as soon as you stop using rogain your regrown hair falls back out. (Rogains main active ingredient is derived from a crystallized compound found only in rat urine)
The only true way to cure baldness is surgically and that can run up to $6000 USD or more depending on who you go to. |

I was thinning big time and it happened really fast. My dematologist put me on propecia and a year and a half later, its come back. You can't tell that I was losing my hair. There are some side effects and propecia claims it works mainly on the crown (top), but it filled in the front for me. The downside is you need to take it indefinitely and its ~$100 for 3 months.
Losing your hair sucks, and I completely sympathize. |
