My girlfriend always says my body is very warm. I usually not cold when other people are, etc. Why would this be?

I am the same way. Heritage is one possibility. I am a mostly highland scottish. Very hardy stock, used to living in the cold.
Location is another. If you moved from Alaska to Pennsylvania, you'd always be warm, but if you moved from Arizona to Pennsylvania you'd always be cold. You body gets acclimatized.
Body fat makes a difference too. If you are as skinny as a rail, you have no insulation. That is why awuatic mammals are so, well, blubbery. Fitness is yet another, if you excercise a lot, your heart is very good about maintaining blood flow. In the cold, more blood flow means warmer. Attitude/mood is another biggie, believe it or not. I've quasi-experimented with this myself. If you think you are warm you will be warm. Mind over matter, as they say. Speaking of which, strength of chi may help too. Tibetan monks are able to sleep in the frigid mountain snow thanks to their intense training. Fitness won't account for all that, because I doubt the average Mr. Universe could do the same.

I and my brother are the same way. During the summer i cannot stand being next to my wife during the night because i end up sweating. She loves that my body temp is always warmer. Again, the highland scottish/northern island irish coming through, i suppose.
