Drug called alpha
 

Anyone have any information about this pill form drug. I have heard increasing talks of it on my campus and was curious. Apparently it is hallucigenic and lasts around 12 hours, retail ~$20

Does it have a distinct smell?

a hallucinogenic drug that lasts for 12 hours? sounds like Acid to me. 20 dollars? from what my roommate told me that's a damn ripoff for a college student.

You're probably talking about AMT or IT -290 or somthing like that. alpha-methyltryptamine is the chemical name for it. I've done it before, I forget how much I took but I do remember it was 2 pills worth. It didn't last that long, it lasted more like 5 or 6 hours for me, though maybe it lasts longer in higher doses. Its not as great a trip as mushrooms, but it was still fun.
