Anyone know which fictional race gave on birthdays instead of recieved?

Hobbits?

"Hobbits like to live their lives with within their own tradition. Hobbits love to give (and recieve) presents. On THEIR birthdays they give presents to THEIR friends and family. They most often live around one hundred years. They don't "come of age" til they are thirty-three years old."

Or did you mean less fictional than that?
