toilet paper in trees

My wife's a teacher. We went out of town last weekend (Halloween) and got rolled. Other people call it wrapping or TPing, but we had toilet paper all over the yard. We got all that was within reach, but there are some tall trees, and now, a week later, it's still there.

Surely we're not the first people to deal with this, and I was just hoping someone knew some way of getting it down that might seem obvious afterward, but that I'm just not creative enough to come up with on my own.

Do we just have to wait and it will eventually disolve, will it come down in a rainstorm?

Thanks in advance.

Waterhose? That's the way I've always thought about removing it should the local assho---er...teens decide to TP my house.

I'd try the waterhose like glytch suggested or you could wait for a bit of rain.

The waterhose trick works - just spray it until it falls a apart.

Fire?

The leprechaun tells me to burn things.

Kidding, kidding.

lol :)

hose might make it wet and stick and dry hard.... is it impossible to climb up and remove the worst ?

The water hose is the definitive answer - it will fall apart and virtually disintegrate.

Not that I've pissed anyone off enough to know . . .

Paintballs are the worst - especially in the winter when they freeze on the house o_O

Your house regularly gets sprayed down by the local weekend warriors?

Wait wait wait.

When we used to roll houses, we would intentionally spray the TP with the waterhose because it made it more of a pain in the ass to clean up. Do you really want soggy TP hanging all over your house?

I'd just pull down what you can, and let the wind blow the rest into the neighbor's yard.

we called this procedure "Rambo", as in "Rambo-ing" or "Rambo-ed".

example: "Last weekend, we Ramboed Mr. Smith's House!"

For the toilet paper in the trees, I've seen my neighbors use fire to burn in up, but I really don't recommend that. We used to get 'wrapped' all of the time a couple of years ago, and we just made it a family effort to clean it up manually. As for the paper in the trees that is too high to reach, it will eventually shrink up and disapate. Still, it's not fun.

at least they didnt cut newspaper up into little pieces, mix it with shaving cream, and then hurl the combo at your house...because ive heard that that shit has to be chipped off with a hammer and punch.
